The winding forms of brushless motors mainly include full-pitch concentrated windings, full-pitch distributed windings, and short-pitch distributed windings. The difference in the winding form will affect the back electromotive force waveform of the motor, and then affect the performance of the motor. Generally speaking, the full-pitch concentrated winding can get a better trapezoidal back EMF waveform, and the short-pitch winding is conducive to weakening the torque ripple.
